About Us

Seth Friedman is the owner and Managing Editor of Advisor Squawk.  Seth is a 35-year veteran of the financial services industry, with extensive experience in wholesaling, product distribution and sales management.  Seth spent 15 years wholesaling to financial advisors prior to transitioning into sales management.  His experience in the space includes running & building distribution teams for notable brands such as Jackson National, Nationwide Financial and Mutual of Omaha.

As a wholesaler, Seth was keenly focused on serving his existing book of advisor relationships and building out new partnerships with top producing advisors.  While each wholesaler has their own unique business model, Seth’s specialty was helping financial advisors drive more long-term revenue through their individual practice.

During Seth’s career, he was a consistent top producer, regardless of the firm he was representing.  Seth was able to apply his wholesaling success into building top performing wholesaling teams at Jackson National, Nationwide Financial and Mutual of Omaha.  With this background in mind, it is Seth’s hope that Advisor Squawk will become a forum to help both advisors and wholesalers grow long-term sales, top line revenue, and sustainable profitability.
